About Armand Habazaj

I’m Armand Habazaj, a Tirana-based photographer. I have been working professionally since 1999, building a practice that moves between editorial storytelling, commercial commissions and long-form personal series.

I studied at the Academy of Arts in Tirana from 1998 to 2002. I began my career photographing for newspapers and magazines, then moved into freelance work and established my own studio. More than two decades later, I still value the directness I learned in editorial photography: understand the subject, find the essential image and make every frame intentional.

My commissioned work spans food, products, fashion, portraiture, interiors, architecture, travel and weddings. I have also worked in film and advertising. The subjects change, but my attention stays with light, form, material and the small gesture that gives an image its presence.

Selected assignments include photographing Albania’s Ionian coast for Travel + Leisure’s 2026 feature “The Quiet Riviera,” the “Surreal Sara” fashion editorial for Living Albania, the “Qeeboo is in town” series, and Vodafone Albania’s “Ask Once” campaign.

I work from Tirana, speak English and Italian, and take on assignments in Albania and internationally.
